Vintage 1970s Disco Suit 3 Piece Dusty Rose Wool Mens Sz S M

This is a wonderful 3 piece vintage 1970s disco suit comprised of a jacket, vest and a pair of pants.  The fabric used to make this vintage 1970s disco suit is pure virgin wool in a dusty rose colour, kind of like a pinkish brown muted tone.  The jacket has wide notched lapels, a two button closure and there is a pocket at either side with a quite deep flap.  In addition, there is a pocket at the left chest.  It has an 11” single vent at the back and is cut with an accentuated waist.  The vest has a two pocket front, a five button closure and an acetate fabric back.  The pants have a flat front with a pocket at either side and two pockets at the back.  The pant leg is cut wide with a substantial flare to the cuff.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this vintage 1970s disco suit should fit a small to medium size (US 36-38), please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Jacket:

Shoulders: 17 1/2” across shoulder seam-to-seam 

Sleeves: 24 1/2” from shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam: 16” long

Chest: 40” around buttoned, taken under the arms - remember that the jacket is meant to be worn open

Waist: 36”

Overall length: 29“, measured flat

Condition:  This vintage 1970s disco suit is in very good condition with only a couple of minor issues.  The fabric on the right lapel near the top edge is a little lifted - a proper pressing may take care of this.  There is some slight wear to the underarm pit, normal for a suit that saw use.  Finally, the button stitching is noticeable when the jacket is open - a seamstress or tailor should be able to do something about this.  Otherwise, this vintage 1970s disco suit has no other pronounced wear, tear, soiling, staining or odour and presents itself very well while being worn.
