Vintage 1965 Mens Mohair Tuxedo Suit Custom Tailored Lombardi Montreal L

This is a wonderful vintage mohair mens tuxedo suit dating to 1965.  The suit is made in black with padded shoulders, narrow shawl lapels that are squared at the bottom, jetted side pockets, chest pocket, single double button closure and a single button at either cuff.  The shawl collar and cuffs are trimmed in roped rickrack and the pants have similar rickrack down either leg.  It is half lined in black viscose.  The pants have a flat front with a single change pocket, a pocket built into either side and two pockets at the back.

Sizing: This was tailored to measure, and although it should fit a size 42,  perhaps a 42 short, but please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please take the thickness of the fabric into consideration):

Jacket:

Shoulders: 18” across shoulder seam-to-seam 

Sleeves: 25” from shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam: 17” long

Chest: 45” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 44” around

Overall length: 29“

Pants:

Waist: 36”-37” around

Leg Inseam: 29 1/2” long - there is 3 3/4” of fabric inside the hem

Overall length: 40 1/2“

Condition: This tuxedo is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors. It looks like it saw very little use, and was very well kept over the years.  

This is a very nice quality vintage tuxedo from 1965 - beautifully tailored!
