This is a dress and coat set made of brown linen with white detailing.  The dress is made in a style that I call “60s does 20s”.  It has a high rounded neckline, short sleeves, a defined waistline, but also has a white delineation and seam that give the impression of a dropped waist - the skirt below that seam is made in wide pleats.  It is fully lined in white acetate and does up the back with a nylon zipper.  The matching coat is made with an eight button double breasted front with military style lapels and collar, somewhat mod in design.  There is a large squared patch pocket at either side, each with a turned out flap decorated with two buttons.  The sleeves have two button cuffs.  The buttons are made of brown and white plastic.  It is cut with a slight A line and has a double kick pleat at the back.  The back of the coat has decorative stitching following the box pleating that goes down the coat to the kick vents, and there is a belt across the back waist.  It also is lined in white acetate.
