This is a striking vintage 1950s rhinestone brooch and earrings set signed Sherman. The brooch is made in a triple floral wreath form while the earrings are made in a floral form. The set features aurora borealis rhinestones in round and navette shapes. Please note that the stones are simply mirror reflective, so the strong colours in the photos are due to colour reflection - otherwise, the stones AB neutral. Sherman used Swarovski rhinestones exclusively, so this set has beautiful sparkle. The signature on the back of the brooch is within an oval in cursive script, which dates the piece to the 1950s. The brooch measures 1 3/4” in diameter while the earrings measure 1 1/8” in height. Both pieces are in very good condition with no pronounced wear, scratches, repairs or replaced stones - the earrings have some wear to the finish of the setting from skin contact, but this shouldn’t bother anyone.
This is a very nice quality demi as Sherman used only the very best materials…great sparkle, sure to be noticed!
