Vintage 1950s Mens Shirt by La Paz California Neck Loop SS Checked Size L

Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing

This is a wonderful 50s or early 60s era vintage shirt made under the “La Paz California” label - I’m thinking more 1950s due to the neck loop and long collar.  The content label reads “80% Dacron 20% Cotton Permanent Press”.  It has a loop and button closure at the neck, a long pointy collar, a six button front and two button bottom side adjustments in order to cinch the bottom.  There is a single patch pocket at the left side of the chest.  The fabric has a slight sheen in it and is made with a yellow and brown checked pattern with gradations of brown.  The shirt is in very good condition, especially so for a 50s shirt - this doesn’t look to have seen much use at all.  It is sized as a medium with an L label for large.  Please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the shirt into consideration:

Shoulders:  19” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Chest:  48” around, taken under the arms - 24” pit to pit

Overall length:  27 1/2”, measured flat

This is a great shirt - getting very difficult to find authentic 50s/early 60s era shirts like this, so a wonderful acquisition if you wear a large size!
