Vintage 1940s Suit Jacket Tailored Blue Wool Mens Size M

This is a wonderful vintage 1940s suit jacket.  This vintage 1940s suit jacket was made by Royal Craft tailors of Montreal.  The fabric is made of a dark navy blue twill wool.  It has heavily padded shoulders, wide peaked lapels and closes with two buttons, part of a six button double breasted configuration.  There are jetted pockets at either side and a pocket at the left chest.  There are three similar buttons at either split cuff.   It is fully lined in a black rayon fabric.  It has a pocket built into the interior right and left sides.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this vintage 1940s suit jacket as it was custom tailored, but this should fit a medium size, probably a US size 38 - please rely on the following measurements for fit (compare measurements with a similar jacket that you presently own or to your own body measurements, taking the cut of the blue blazer into account):

Shoulders: 19” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 24 1/2” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam: 17 3/4”

Chest:  43” around

Waist:  38”

Overall length:  29”, measured flat

Condition:  This vintage 1940s suit jacket is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, soiling or staining - a dry cleaning is always recommended, but this is wearable as it is.
