1960s Vintage Silk Turban Hat Otto Lucas London 1966 Size S
Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
This is a wonderful 1960s vintage silk turban hat made by Otto Lucas. The silk turban is printed with a black wedge shape on a cream white background. The side is wrapped with pleated silk and the top is decorated with a black velvet button. It has two matching ties that fall down the back and the interior is finished in tulle. The hat measures 13 1/3” in diameter across the brim. The opening measures 21” around the interior opening and measures about 6” in height - it should fit a small size probably 6 3/4 to 6 7/8. The hat is in very good condition - a bit of dried glue showing on the label, normal for older glued labels.
Age: 1966. The lady from whom this was acquired left a note with the hat that read "Otto Lucas Turban Summer 1966"
