This is a striking vintage rhinestone parure set, consisting of pendant choker necklace, bracelet and drop earrings made by Montreal based jewelry manufacturer Jay Flex.

Jay Flex was in business from the 1930s until the 1960s, and although a direct competitor to the better known Montreal based manufacturer Sherman, remains under appreciated.  Jay Flex always used sterling silver settings, but coloured rhinestones are much less common than clear rhinestones in Jay Flex jewelry.  Every now and then, however, you find coloured rhinestones in a piece of Jay Flex as in this vintage rhinestone parure.

The necklace measures 15 1/4” in length and the pendant has a drop of 1 3/4”.  The bracelet measures 7 3/8” in length laid out straight while the earrings measure 1 1/2” in height.   The earrings have screw back fasteners while the necklace and bracelet have tongue in groove clasps.  All three pieces of this vintage rhinestone parure in very good condition with no wear, missing stones or repairs - this is a very nicely preserved parure, but a cleaning is always beneficial.

This is a gorgeous vintage rhinestone parure!
