This is a knitting instruction book published by Newlands & Co. of Galt, Ontario, established in 1884. Newlands produced “Kroy Processed Wool” yarn until 1951, so this book probably dates to the late 1940s. It consists of 32 pages including its cover, and contains instructions for knitting men’s cardigans, pullovers, ties and socks. Some pretty natty looking items here - I especially like the yellow ski outfit and the matching fleur-de-lys pullover vest, tie and socks. The book is in good condition with some slight wear, but clean inside and out without odour. Great book for the knitter!
