Because of their competitive pricing, they grew to be the largest Canadian suppliers of rhinestone jewelry during the 1950s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis brooch is made in a round shape and features a large round cabochon stone in its center. The stone has an amber undertone with an oil slick appearance depending on how the light hits it. The cabochon stone is surrounded by citrine colored rhinestones, then by bronze\/brown colored baguette rhinestones and finally by citrine rhinestones around the exterior. The signature is within a round plaque on the underside. The setting is gold toned.s The brooch measures 2\" in diameter. this came from an old estate with other lace that was all handmade.  The solid center linen piece measures 29” in diameter while the lace border measures 15” in width - total diameter of the tablecloth including the lace border is 59”.  The piece is in very good condition with no stains, breaks or pronounced wear - unfortunately, I do not have the right foot last.  It measures 11” in length, so was meant for an adult.  It has a hole drilled through it at the back, I assume meant for hanging the piece, and one drilled into the top back, probably meant to somehow aid in working the last.  The wood has been stained brown - Burnside poem.  All three of the longer cards have Helen Marion Burnside poems - Burnside was a prolific poetess, born in 1844, who went deaf at the age of 13 and was very popular during the Victorian age.  Two of the smaller cards have quotes by Frances Ridley Havergal (1836-1879), an English poetess and hymn writer.  The poems\/quotes all have a religious text - the smaller cards use the symbolism of the anchor and the cross, covered in foliate.  The piece measures 11 3\/8” by 3 3\/4”, unfolded and 6 14” by 3 3\/4” closed.  It is in very good condition some patina\/marking, quite minor and probably some silk fringe loss.  This is a lovely Victorian decoration with religious messages - I’ve provided a number of close-up photos of both the interior and exterior.  It looks to me to be knotted at the rate of 16 knots per inch.  The bag measures 21” wide by 49” long with the bag fully laid out.  It is in very good condition except that it is missing some of its fringe and the compartments are unstitched at 3 of the top sides as well as at a bottom corner -
