This is a dressing gown / lounging robe made of a really interesting woven fabric. I’ve never handled fabric quite like this - the interior is a faille textured velour and the exterior has a shiny twill finish in a purple and ochre gold pattern, very rich looking. It has shawl lapels, defined cuffs, and patch pockets at either side and is trimmed in satin cording. It closes with a matching sash belt.
Age: Difficult to date precisely due to its classic styling, however, the fabric indicates to me that this dates to the 1910s-20s era
Fabric: As mentioned, I’m not sure. I think that this dressing gown may be a cotton brocade that is blended with some sort of satin
Label: None
Sizing: No size is indicated on this dressing gown and although this should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit (note the shorter length sleeves):

Sleeve Inseam: 17” long
Chest: 47” around, taken under the arms (23 1/2” across pit-to-pit)

Overall length: 48”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam to the hemline
