Vintage Roman Catholic Priest Cassock Soutane Black Robe Size M

This is a vintage cassock, also known as a soutane, that would have been worn by a member of the clergy, most likely a Roman Catholic priest.  The robe is made of a quality fabric that has good weight and falls beautifully.  It has a clerical collar and does up with 17 buttons down the front.  It is constructed with wide pleats below the pelvic area to allow for easier movement. It should fit a medium size, but please note the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 16 1/2”

Sleeves:  24” long

Sleeve inseam:  17 1/2”

Chest:  42” around

Waist:  38”  around

Hips:  42” around

Length:  55”, measured flat

The cassock is in very good condition with no wear, tear or staining - this looks to have seen little, if any, use.

This is a quality vintage garment, not a more modern version - nice acquisition for someone needing a cassock!
