This is a silk twill scarf made by the venerable firm Liberty of London.  The scarf features a wonderful graphic of Colonial era people amidst flowers - a hunter, a lady, a flower seller, a gentleman and a courting couple.  The design is printed in colours of olive green, pink, maroon, blue, tan and black against an apple green background.

Age: late 1950s, maybe early 60s

Label: No label, but printed with “Liberty of London Made in England” within the print

Size: 23” square

Condition: It is in excellent condition with its original folds - I don’t think that this was ever used.  You can see that there is a “line” in the silk next to the Liberty imprint, but this is original to the making of the scarf as are any other small lines - mentioned only in the interest of full disclosure as no one will ever see these minor manufacturing defects.

This is a wonderful vintage Liberty silk scarf - unusual print in pretty colours, great addition to a collection!
