This is a wonderful vintage 1960s, Jackie Kennedy era hat made in a flat pillbox shape.  What distinguishes the hat is the striking pink colour of the feathers - really gorgeous.  I believe that the feathers are “burnt” ostrich - milliners used that technique to achieve a chic “wispy” look. The opening measures 6 3/4” by 6 1/4”, so this should fit a range of sizes as it would sit on the back of the head.  There are two small combs attached to the interior that help to secure the hat to the hair.  It is in very good condition with no wear or tear and is very clean.  There is no label, but this is obviously a quality hat.

This is a fabulous hat, featuring great colour and perfect early 60s style!
