This is an exceptional vintage all silk mens tuxedo suit made by Brioni of Rome. Brioni, of course, is one of the most expensive tailors in the world, each garment hand made and sewn by expert workmen. Brioni is known for making the most expensive off-the-rack suits in the world, each starting at $5000, with custom tailored suits selling for $15,000.

The jacket is made with narrow width silk satin shawl lapels and a one silk covered button closure. The fabric has “slubbing” in the silk, as one would expect of a high quality silk. There is a jetted pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest. The sleeves have single button silk satin cuffs and there is a double vent back flap. It is fully lined in black rayon. The pants have a pleated front and the pant leg tapers to the cuff. The sides of the pant legs have a silk satin stripe.

Label: Roman Style by Brioni Made in Italy

Material: Label at the upper interior of the jacket reads “All Silk”.

Sizing: Italian size 50 indicated on the pants, which should be equivalent to a US size 40, but the jacket may be more of a size 38/40 - please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior (please take the thickness of the fabric into consideration):

Jacket:
Shoulders: 18 1/4” across shoulder seam-to-seam
Sleeves: 25” from shoulder seam
Sleeve Inseam: 17 1/2” long
