This is a wonderful vintage caftan made in a loose style with kimono styled sleeves. The caftan is constructed with symmetrically positioned pieces of brightly coloured silk.  The primary colour is an orangey red, followed by black, ochre gold, blue and pink, really attractive.  It has a boat or bateau neckline and no closures - it simply slips over the head. 

Sizing: There is no size is indicated, and although a loose fitting garment, this should fit a range of sizes, but would suit larger sizes best - please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Top, including the sleeves that would drape the arms:  66” across 

Bust:  40” across, 80” around

Length:  48”, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very clean condition with no wear, tear or staining but there is, however, a slight scent of perfume.  It had been more pronounced, but I’ve aired the caftan for a number days and the scent is quite diminished, but there still is a remnant of scent.  You could either have it dry cleaned or air it further.

This is a wonderful vintage caftan - nice quality silk, attractive colour block look!
