Vintage Ralph Lauren Country Label Long Skirt Khaki 1990 Sample Made in USA Sz M

This is a wonderful khaki coloured long skirt made under the Ralph Lauren “Country” label.  It was made in February of 1990 as an advance sample for buyers for the Fall 1990 line.  The skirt is made with a wide flare to the hemline and closes with a brass zipper and button at the waist.  It has a small button-down flapped change pocket at the right front and two button-down pockets at the back, one of them flapped.

Label: Ralph Lauren Country Est. 1971 Authentic Dry Goods Made in U.S.A. / Original Sample Not For Sale Ralph Lauren Style #______Fab#_____.  Written onto the sample label is “3H17 R/W Fall 90 2-13-90 9 (ton/)?

Fabric:  It is a type of soft denim - it has a twill finish, almost like a super fine corduroy.

Sizing:  No size is indicated, but this should fit a medium size (27”-28” waist) - please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the garment into consideration:

Waist:  27”-28” around 

Hips:  38”-39” - meant to fall on the hip

Hemline:  88” around

Overall length: 38“, measured flat

Condition:  This skirt is in very good condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour.  This piece looks to have seen very little use and has been well kept over the last 29 years.
