This wonderful early 70s Pierre Cardin Paris bikini came from the estate of a shopaholic who bought more than she could possibly wear, all of it high end fashion. The two pieces of this swimsuit feature an abstract print in teal and white against a rust brown background and the bottoms have a white Pierre Cardin logo affixed to the left side. The top does up at the back with a brass catch and has halter straps that also do up with a brass catch. The set was made in Israel for Pierre Cardin and is about a size 8 or 10 - the top is labeled as a French size 38 while the bottoms are labeled as a continental size 40, equivalent to a US size 10. I do know that this lady normally wore about a size 8. The set looks to have seen very little use as there are no signs at all of wear.  It has been hand washed. Hard to find designer bikinis of this period in such nice condition.
