Vintage 1980s Plaid Coat Mohair and Wool Ladies Size L

This is a 1980s plaid coat made of 70% mohair and 30% wool.  This 1980s plaid coat has a high set neck, large pads in the shoulders, raglan style sleeves, single button split cuffs, a pocket at either side and a six button double breasted front. The coat is lined in black satin acetate that is backed in cotton.  

Colours:  Green, blue and black

Label:  Handcrafted by Jacob Crowley Made in Canada.  Jacob Crowley was based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  The ILGWU union logo on the content label was used between 1968 and 1984. 

Sizing: Size 12 is indicated on the label of this 1980s plaid coat, and although this should fit a large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit (please take the style of the coat and thickness of the fabric into consideration):

Shoulders:  18” across, estimated due to raglan sleeves

Sleeves:  23” long from the estimated shoulder

Sleeve inseam: 18”

Bust: 48” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  48” around

Overall length: 47", measured flat, taken at the back from the neck seam

Condition: This 1980s plaid coat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour -  there is some spotting to the content label.  Otherwise this coat looks to have seen little use and was well cared for over the last 40 or so years.
