This is a striking vintage men’s silk pyjamas & robe set made in 100% pure silk.  This silk pyjamas & robe set features a paisley and acanthus leaf pattern in red, green and dropped out white against a black background.  The robe has a shawl collar and has a matching sash belt.  It has an applied patch pocket at either side.  The pyjamas consist of a top and pants.  The top has a small notched  lapel and does up the front with three plastic buttons.  The pants do up with two buttons at the front waistline and has an elasticized band at the back.  They have a button up fly.

John Forsyth is a Canadian manufacturer that was founded in 1903 by D. Claude Forsyth.  They are located in Kitchener Ontario and are still active today 

Sizing: Pyjama size C is indicated on this silk pyjamas & robe set - the letter system is a vintage system that matched a letter against a standard sizing.  A size C would correspond to someone who wore a 15 1/2 to 16 1/2 shirt, had a 40 to 44 inch chest and weighed 165 to 185 lbs.   Please rely on the following measurements for fit of this silk pyjamas & robe set:

Condition: This silk pyjamas & robe set is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, stains or odour.  The silk pyjamas & robe set looks like it saw little or no use and was well cared for and stored over the years.
