This is a vintage Mexican “tourist” shirt, dating most likely to the 50s or 60s.  The front is embroidered with Mexican motifs - a donkey, a Saltillo serape, a rooster, cactus and red chilli peppers.  The collar, front and sleeve cuffs are also embroidered with blue and red trim.  The blouse closes with four plastic pegs down the front.  Although the shirt has the buttons on the right, meaning a men’s shirt, it could be worn by either gender.

Label: None, not unusual for old Mexican tourist pieces

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a men’s small or a ladies’ medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Sleeves: 22 1/2” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve inseam:  19”

This is a fun vintage Mexican tourist shirt - you sometimes see tourist jackets, but shirts appear to be rarer……great collectible shirt!
