This is an easy to wear vintage late 1940s / early 1950s dress made in a nice quality rayon crepe fabric, beautiful fall and drape. It has padded shoulders, short sleeves with turned cuffs and a sweetheart style neckline. The bottom of the neckline is decorated with a rhinestone studded piece and bow and the upper bodice is pieced with each hole surrounded by rope rickrack appliqué. It has a defined waist with loops for a belt - no belt is provided The skirt is constructed so as to fall in drapes. It has a to-the-knee length and closes at the side with a metal zipper
