Vintage Mink Coat Medium Brown Size Large

This is a beautiful quality vintage mink coat made in a medium brown colour, really a lovely tone.  This vintage mink coat is made in a classic style with padded rounded shoulders and cut with a flare to an above the ankle length (depending on the wearer’s height).  It has a high set collar that can be worn either down with an open neckline or up as it has a button and loop at the neckline (see photos for different poses).  The sleeves are cut full with a defined cuff.  There is a pocket built into either side.  The coat closes with an interior sash affixed to the lining that ties to a loop at the waistline as well as with a hook and eye and three fur type snaps and loops down the front.  The fur is extremely soft and luxurious and the pelts are beautifully matched - note the beautiful back on this coat.  This vintage mink coat is lined in a silk fabric that is woven with a foliate pattern around the bottom, quite beautiful.  There are no labels or markings, not even the owner’s monogram, but this vintage mink coat was definitely made by a quality furrier. 

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this vintage mink coat should fit a large size, please rely on the following exterior measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fur into account (compare measurements with a similar fur coat that you presently own or to your own body measurements, and also taking the cut of the garment into account,:

Shoulders: 18” across from one shoulder/sleeve seam to the other

Sleeves: 27” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam: 18”

Bust:  46” around

Waist:  44”

Overall length:  47”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition:  This vintage mink coat is in very good condition with no noted splits, soiling, staining, odour or other defect - the fur appears to be fresh and shiny.
