Vintage Faux Fur Coat Michel Alexis Paris 1980s Design Ladies Size M L

This is a vintage faux fur coat made in France using a quality acrylic pile fabric.  The coat is made in an above-the-knee length with an incorporated hood.  It has padded shoulders and full cut sleeves that taper to the cuff.  It closes with four fur type snaps and loops (the bottom loop is missing) and cinches at the waist with a black leather string belt with two plastic “ball” shapes that runs through the interior of the coat, between the lining and the exterior fabric.  The coat is lined in an orangey brown coloured acetate fabric.  When cinched, the coat has wonderful form - take a look at the back.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a medium to large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of fabric into account:

Shoulders:  20” across from seam to seam

Sleeves:  23” long from the neck seam

Sleeve Inseam:  17 1/2”

Bust: 46” around, taken under the arms, should be loose

Waist: 38” around, uncinched

Hips: 48” around

Overall length: 35"

Condition:  Aside from the aforementioned missing loop, it is in very good condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour.  The coat looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.  The loop could easily be replaced, but it isn’t absolutely necessary.

This is a wonderful faux fur coat - nice quality and excellent style…….comfortable winter wear!
