1980s Vintage Yeohlee Coat 100% Cashmere Size L Oversized

This is a 1980s or early 90s, 100% cashmere vintage Yeohlee coat made in Italy in an oversized style.  This vintage Yeohlee coat has padded shoulders, raglan style full cut sleeves and a small shirt-type collar with bridge across the neckline.  It closes with two hidden buttons down the bodice and cinches at the waist with a matching buckled belt.  There is a pocket built into either side.  It is cut very full through the body and flares down to an ankle length.  The coat is fully lined in brown acetate.

Label: Yeohlee New York.  Yeohlee Teng, originally from Malaysia, studied at the Parsons School of Design and opened her house in New York in 1981.  Her work has been displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and at the Victoria and Albert museum.

Sizing: Size L for large is indicated, but I would say that this vintage Yeohlee coat would accommodate an extra large size due to the oversized style of the coat.  Please note the following measurements for fit, keeping in mind the oversized style of this vintage Yeohlee coat:

Shoulders:  18” across, estimated

Sleeves:  25” from the estimated shoulder / 34” from the mid-neck to the cuff

Sleeve inseam:  14 1/2”

Bust: 52”

Waist: 54”, meant to be cinched with the belt

Hips:  62”

Hemline:  104” around

Overall length: 54”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Condition: This vintage Yeohlee coat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour - this vintage Yeohlee coat looks like it saw moderate use and was well cared for.
