1980s Vintage Krizia Coat Off White Wool Swagger Style L XL

This is a 1980s or early 90s, pure virgin wool vintage Krizia coat made in Italy in a swagger style.  This vintage Krizia coat has a wide squared collar, full cut raglan style sleeves with optional narrow turned cuffs.  It is oversized through the body but cinches at the waist with a matching sash belt.  There is a pocket built into either side and a 17” kick vent at the bottom back.  It is made in an above the ankle length.  The coat is lined in a satin finished blend of 60% acetate and 40% rayon.

Label: Krizia Made in Italy.  Krizia was founded in 1954 by Mariuccia Mandelli.  It expanded rapidly during the 1960s and 70s and is known as the originator of hot pants shorts.

Colour:  Off-white in a cream tone

Sizing: Size 48 is indicated, which is equivalent to a US size 12, but I would say that this vintage Krizia coat would fit an extra large size due to the oversized style of the coat.  Please note the following measurements for fit, keeping in mind the oversized style of this vintage Krizia coat:

Shoulders:  18” across, estimated

Sleeves:  26” from the estimated shoulder with the cuff turned

Sleeve inseam:  17”

Bust: 58”

Waist: 58”, meant to be cinched with the belt

Overall length: 49”

Condition: This vintage Krizia coat is in very good condition except for two spots at the bottom front where the nappe (finish) is worn.  This looks like it caused by a device of some sort, maybe that had some type of adhesive that removed the finish.  Otherwise, there is no other pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour - this Krizia coat looks like it saw little use and was well cared for.
