This is a fabulous 1970s vintage suit consisting of a pair of pants with jacket, part of the Couture Future line by Courreges Paris. Very streamlined, this ensemble definitely has a futuristic look, and can still be considered rather forward looking fashion, even today.  The jacket does up with a large tooth vinyl zipper that can be partially zipped up to leave a collar, or all the way up to cover the neck, as shown in the photos.  There is a seam on either front side that follows the body silhouette - a pocket is built into the lower part of each seam.  The waist cinches with a matching belt and the sleeves are cuffed, each cuff decorated with a button.  The pants have a flat panel front and a slight flare to the leg, beautifully tailored.

Makers Label: Courreges Paris Couture Future Made in France.  Couture Future was Andre Courreges’ higher end ready-to-wear line, which he introduced in 1967 for sale in department stores.  The label is stamped with a number - 045959.

Retailer Label:  Lily Simon Montreal.  Lily Simon was an exclusive Westmount boutique that sold only high-end designer fashion, and was well known for retailing Courreges.
