From the 1960s here's a full length evening dress or gown featuring a black velvet bodice and a metallic lamé skirt with a cut velvet optic pattern. The dress has a high collar, long sleeves and a flounce at the bottom of the skirt. It is lined in black satin acetate. The dress closes at the back with a nylon zipper.

Label: An Original Junior Vogue New York

Color: Black, orange, gold, bronze, yellow and white

Material: Rayon velvet and metallic woven fabric

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this should fit a small size - please rely on the following measurements for fit, keeping the style of the garment in mind (please measure your body or a similar garment that you might own for comparison):

Shoulders: 15" across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Sleeves: 22" from shoulder seam

Bust: 34" around, taken under the arms

Waist: 25", maybe 26" around

Hips: 38" around, but meant to fall loosely

Overall length: 58", measured flat from the top to the hemline

It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors - the only issue is a bit of velvet matting at the underarm area, normal for a dress like this that has seen use. This dress was well stored over the years.

This is a wonderful 60s dress - striking optic pattern, and well made of quality brocade lamé fabric and black velvet.
