This is a lovely 1950s silk dress featuring a rather striking abstract floral print in colours of magenta, green, grey, brown, mustard yellow and dropped out white.  This 1950s silk dress is made in a sheath style with cap sleeves and a defined waist.  The skirt tapers slightly to a mid-calf length.  It has a boat neckline and closes with a metal zipper at the back.  It is lined in brown fabric that I think is acetate.  This should fit a medium to large size, but please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the dress into account:

Shoulders: 16” across, shoulder seam to shoulder seam /  Bust: 42” around (should fit somewhat loosely)/ Waist:  30” / Hips:  40” / Length:  44”, measured flat 

Condition:  This 1950s silk dress is in very good condition with no stains, pronounced wear or tear.  It looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years.
