The jar measures 9 1\/2 in height and has a bottom diameter of 9 1\/2.  The cookie jar is in very clean condition but has a few defects - a chip to the side bottom edge of the lid, a glaze type chip to the top edge of the bottom of the jar and a tight hairline to the back of the lid (see last three close-up photos).  Despite the damage, this cookie jar still displays very well. Overall, the suitcase presents very well and appears to have seen relatively little use. The exterior leather is very well preserved with no significant wear, although there are a couple of very minor dark marks. There is some scuffing and scratching to the leather on the underside, much of which may improve with appropriate leather care. The black canvas has a very small hole, approximately \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e1\/16\" in diameter\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, at the lower right front near the leather corner (see close-up photograph).
