Modernist Pendant Necklace by Lanvin Paris Vintage 1960s

This is a 60s era modernist pendant necklace made by Lanvin Paris.  The piece is made in a vertically rectangular form and is made of three contrasting colored metal pieces - a square metallic bronze colored piece within a gold toned metal piece with a silver toned rectangular piece at the bottom.  The pendant is affixed to a heavy gold toned metallic rope chain.  The chain has a “Lanvin Paris” metal tag affixed to it.  The pendant measures 3 5/8” in height, exclusive of its top loop, and the chain measures 31 3/4” in length, laid out straight.  The pendant does have some scratching.  I’ve angled the piece in the photo lighting in such a way in the last photo so that the scratches are contrasted and easily visible, but they are not as pronounced under normal viewing - perhaps a bit more visible than in the first photos, but the piece is certainly usable as is, depending on how picky you are.  The piece is priced with the wear taken into account.

This is a dramatic piece, sure to be noticed - great modernist design from an esteemed Paris fashion house......
