Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing

This is a wonderful Christian Dior hat made in England under the Christian Dior Chapeaux label.  The wealthy lady from whom this was acquired left notes on some of her hats with the date acquired - this was notated as “Christian Dior Safari Hat with Hem Stitching Spring 1974”.  The hat is made of excellent quality straw in a pith helmet form and, as mentioned, has stitching around the edge of the brim and crossing the crown.  There is a straw covered button at the top of the crown.  The opening measures 21” around and should fit a small to medium sized head - it will be snug on a medium.  It is in very good condition with no wear, tear or soiling - this Christian Dior hat has been very well preserved and cared for.

This is a wonderful Christian Dior hat - lovely quality, great addition to a hat collection!
