This is a vintage mens formal wear tuxedo jacket made in France during the 60s by luxury brand Bril Paris.  The jacket is made in black wool that is woven with a satin patterning, rather striking.  it is constructed with padded shoulders, single button closure, shawl lapels that are trimmed in roped rickrack, jetted side pockets, chest pocket and two button cuffs. The jacket is fully lined in black viscose and there is a 12” back centre vent. 

Label: Made in France.  Bril Paris is embroidered onto the lining in gold toned yellow thread.  

Sizing: This tuxedo jacket is unsized, and although this should fit a medium size (US 40), please rely on the following measurements:

Jacket:

Shoulders: 17 1/4” across shoulder seam-to-seam 

Sleeves: 24 1/2” from shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam: 16 1/2”

Chest: 44”

Waist: 41”

Overall length: 31“

Condition: This tuxedo jacket is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors. It looks like it only saw one use, and was very well kept over the years.
