This is a vintage 1950s dressing gown / lounging robe made of a red toned wool. It has shawl lapels, defined cuffs, and patch pockets at either side and at the left chest, all trimmed in red and white candy cane striped roping. It closes with a tasseled satin rope belt. It is unlined.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this dressing gown and although this should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 19” across, between shoulder/sleeve seams
Sleeves: 24” long from the shoulder/sleeve seam
Sleeve inseam: 18”
Chest: 44” around, taken under the arms
Waist: 44” around, uncinched, but meant to be cinched with the belt
Hips: 46”
Overall length: 44” measured from the back neck seam to the hemline
Condition: This dressing gown has a teeny tiny pinhole hole at the back, barely visible unless inspecting with a strong light behind the fabric, really minor, but mentioned in the interest of full disclosure. Otherwise, this dressing gown is in very clean condition with no other pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour.
