Vintage 1960s Tuxedo Palm Beach Formals Size 38R

This is a vintage 1960s tuxedo consisting of a jacket, pants and suspenders.  The jacket to this vintage 1960s tuxedo is made with padded shoulders, a single button closure, shawl lapels, flapped side pockets, chest pocket and two button cuffs - the shawl lapels are trimmed in black satin.  There is a satin stripe down either leg of the pants.  The jacket is fully lined in black viscose.  The pants have a pleated front, a hook and eye closure, metal zipper fly, a pocket built into either side and two back pockets.  The pants come with their original suspenders.

Fabric:  No fabric label is visible but it feels like a wool blend

Sizing: The size label reads 38 R (regular), but please rely on the following measurements for fit of this vintage 1960s tuxedo, taken from the exterior:

Shoulders: 17” across shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 25” from shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve Inseam: 16 1/2” long

Chest: 42” around, taken under the arms

Waist: 36”

Overall length: 30 1/2“, measured flat

Pants:

Waist: 32”

Leg Inseam: 27 3/4” long (additional 3” in the cuff)

Overall length: 41“ 

Condition:  This vintage 1960s tuxedo is in very good condition - no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour.
