Antique WWI Era Shirt Green Wool with Bib Size M

This is an interesting WWI era shirt that is made of green wool and has an interior bib across the chest that provides extra warmth.  Most likely military issue, but there are no insignia, so I’m unsure of country of origin.  It has a button down pocket at either side of the chest and another on the sleeve.

Label:  This WWI era shirt has only a size label

Material: 100% Wool.  Beautiful quality and weight

Sizing: The size label on this WWI era shirt reads “15 1/2 33”.  The 15 1/2” neck is right, but the sleeve appears to be shorter than 33”.  It measures 17 1/2” across the shoulder seams and the sleeve measures 22” from shoulder seam - I get 32” from the mid neck, not 33”.  The chest measures 43” around or  21 1/2” across from pit to pit, the waist measures 40” around and the shirt has a length of 31” measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Age: 1910s

Condition:  This WWI era shirt is in very good condition with the exception of a fray hole near the right cuff and a couple of pinhead sized oil spots near the collar (see last two close-up photos).

This is a wonderful WWI era shirt - all wool, unusual construction, very nice quality!
